About J&T’s Soil Service

What makes us different? We do the job right the first time, show up when we say we will, and treat your property like our own. We don’t cut corners, and we take pride in helping people feel confident in a process that’s often confusing. When we’re not in the field, you’ll find us hunting, enjoying the outdoors, or with family. We’re proud to live and work in Wisconsin, and to be a company you can count on.


We built J&T Soil Services as a one-stop solution for everything septic-related, from soil testing and design to permits, installation, and repairs. We became certified soil testers and started our plumbing apprenticeships so we could better serve our clients and handle it all under one roof. Our goal is to give homeowners peace of mind, knowing they’re working with one team that’s got their back from day one.


We started J&T Soil Services with one goal in mind: to make septic work easier, clearer, and more reliable for homeowners. After years of working hands-on in excavation, construction, and property development, we kept seeing the same problem. Homeowners had no idea where to begin when it came to septic systems. The process was confusing, filled with permits, delays, multiple contractors, and costly mistakes. It didn’t sit right with us, so we decided to do something about it.

Tyler’s favorite part of the job is troubleshooting. He loves turning a tough situation into a smooth solution.


Joe is a certified soil tester and currently completing his sewer-restricted plumbing apprenticeship.

We started J&T Soil Services to give homeowners one trusted place to handle all their septic needs, with no runaround and no surprises.


We both grew up in Wisconsin and know firsthand how important it is to take care of the land you live on.

Tyler co-founded J&T Soil Services with a passion for delivering high-quality septic solutions and a seamless experience for homeowners. With several years of field experience in excavation and system installations, he’s hands-on with every job and takes pride in clear communication and dependable results. Tyler is currently pursuing his sewer-restricted plumbing apprenticeship to expand the team’s full-service capabilities. When he’s not on the job site, you’ll find him enjoying the outdoors, fixing up gear, or spending time with friends and family.

Tyler Langner

Joe brings years of hands-on experience in excavation, septic system installation, and soil testing to J&T Soil Services. As a Wisconsin-certified soil tester and sewer-restricted plumbing apprentice, he plays a key role in guiding projects from the first test to the final install. Joe is known for his precision, work ethic, and commitment to making the septic process straightforward for homeowners. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, working on equipment, and spending time with his family in the great outdoors.
